“Michael Kontraros Collectibles” - A company dedicated to producing and selling of high quality figures in a variety of scales for fantasy enthusiasts, collectors, sculptors and painters. The concepts are selected for their originality, excitement and to provide variety for the painter. “Michael Kontraros Collectibles” is also happy to hold regular Master Classes in the state of the art workshop, where anyone can learn to sculpt. With your enthusiasm and support, I look forward to continuing this wonderful and exciting journey.
Bio
My name is Michael Kontraros, I reside in Athens, Greece where I was born in 1980. I received
a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design at the age of 22 and a Master’s Degree in
Art & Design/Visual Communications and Interactive Media at the age of 23. Since 2005
I have my own business and have been working as a freelance graphic designer / illustrator,
but what really won me over is the magical world of miniature sculpting.
Following my passion, I have sculpted numerous fantasy themed miniatures and vignettes,
taking part in many prestigious model shows around the world. Attending these shows over
the years I have been asked by many people “if they can paint some of my sculpts, if I would
be willing to produce some of my figures, or if starting my own company was something
I would consider”. Seeing the warm welcome I have received and the interest of the modeling
community, in 2013 I decided to start a miniature company of my own.
A company dedicated to producing and selling high quality figures for collectors, sculptors and
painters, “Michael Kontraros Collectibles” will offer sculpts and figures in a variety of scales
basely for fantasy enthusiasts

The state-of-the-art company premises (110 square metre / 1200 square feet) of Michael Kontraros Collectibles offer modern modeling facilities that are solely dedicated to the expression of all facets of scale modeling!
The fully equipped sculpting studio is the ideal place for budding sculptors to express their passion and learn the secrets of miniature sculpting. A fully equipped meeting room is perfect for seminars, workshops and lectures, for aspiring and budding modelers to augment and improve their sculpting, painting and modeling skills. The shop where all Michael Kontraros Collectibles products are displayed, both painted and unpainted and can be purchased is ideal to admire at all the box art pieces painted by a myriad of talented artists.
Finally, the ideal place to relax and take a breath of fresh air or party – the back garden.
