Beauty and the Beast

Description / Story

The garden had been abandoned for decades, the flowers had long since died, and the decorations had crumbled and cracked over time. But tonight, they danced, the garden had once again come to life, under the translucent moonlight, they danced, with the giggling fairies and pixies as their audience.

They danced for all eternity - she held him tight, she would not let him go again. She rested her head against his chest, his heart pounded rhythmically, like a sweet calming lullaby. With every beat, it brought her closer to him.

They came together under the strangest of circumstances, a debt to save her father’s life for a past transgression. At first, she was scared and fearful of this beast, he was abrupt, awkward, and solemn, but over time he softened, he even professed his love for her.

She looked up at him, she did not see ugliness, she did not see malice, she did not see a beast…she saw kindness, affection, beauty…she saw her Prince!!!

She closed her eyes and with all her heart and soul she whispered to him ”I love you”.
